Our team in Charlotte currently has an opening for a Warehouse Supervisor
YOUR ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Be a safety leader for thefacility.
- Identify any safety relatedissues and communicate effectively throughout the organization.
- Manage the day to dayoperations to include outbound/inbound package shipments.
- Coordinate with otherBrenntag facilities to maintain adequate inventory.
- Complete and submit allrequired paperwork as per standard operating procedures.
- Complete required dailyinspections & follow up on open items.
- Complete work audits coachand develop team.
- Pull and stage products forcustomer orders.
- Conduct semi-annualinventory counts.
- Work 2nd shift(Sunday-Thursday).
- Maintain housekeeping forfood grade storage compliance.
- Complete other duties asassigned.
- Walking or standing longstretches of time in the warehouse.
- Working with your hands tomanage some of the operational demands.
Education and Experience:
- 2 years supervisoryexperience leading union staff preferred
- 2 years experience withinFood Distribution preferred.
- Strong leadership,organization, and communication skills.
- Must be able to workindependently.
- Must have the ability tomultitask and work with various groups within a outside of facility.
- Must have experience withMicrosoft Office applications (Excel, word, etc.)
